Atlantis Awaits is an Australian rock/hardcore band that formed in mid 2009. Since then they've started writing and playing local shows. They just finished their debut EP and setting up tours. The band consists of Alice Jetson (vocals), Jimmy Moore (guitar), Tommy Caldwell (guitar), Steve "Tanga" Wright (bass/screams) and Robbie Allison-Young (drums).
Vultures may refer to: 1) An up-and-coming melodic hardcore band from Melbourne established late in 2008 . Played with the likes of Iron Mind, Break Even, Carpathian, Have Heart and 50 Lions in their short career. They have already released two demos which are available for free download on their MySpace (mysapce.com/vulturesmelbourne). Heading into the studio mid-May 2010, Vultures will record their first EP, 'I Don't Blame you', featuring six new tracks and one re-recorded track.
Formed in late 2007, Sydney's Alice Through The Windshield Glass ruthlessly fuse tech-death metal and hardcore, creating a menacing brand of modern death metal. Comprising of their 5 original members, the band have developed a predominantly deathcore sound with a writing style not commonly seen in Australia. As of Summer 2011, Something Must Break have announced they will be writing and recording a 3-way split with hardcore heroes Have Heart and Verse for early release in 2012, entitled "Songs 2 Mosh 2". Both bands however, have recently dropped out of the project, claiming sexual harassment. they have recently announced that they are changing their name, and will soon be called "Joel Nevile & The Something Must Breaks."
