There is more than one band named A Murder of Crows: 1. A fledgling hardcore/d-beat outfit from the south west of england. Formed early 2009, they have already cut their first ep (self-titled) and are planning a european tour early next year. Featuring members of Jesus Bruiser, Belladonna and Anti-pack. 2. A musical project of Elliott Smith (billed as Elliott Stillwater-Rotter) and Garrick Duckler. Duckler and Smith had previously played together in Stranger Than Fiction, Smith's high school band, which released three limited-edition cassettes.
Super Fun Happy Slide is a grindcore band from Australia. Formed in 2005, Super Fun Happy Slide quickly rose to the top of the legendary Heywood grindcore scene with their combination of hardline straight-edge politics and their progressive melodic song writing. After the departure of founding member M. Sanchez, the band relocated to Melbourne City and changed their sound to a more Napalm Death influenced blend of Napalm Death and Napalm Death.
Brazilian metal titans Max and Igor Cavalera have written and recorded new material together for the first time in twelve years, since their work in Sepultura. Formed in the summer of 2007, Cavalera Conspiracy, is their new project and features the Cavalera brothers from Brazil, bassist Joe Duplantier from France and guitarist Marc Rizzo from the United States. Cavalera Conspiracy's debut record, Inflikted, was released on March 25, 2008 by Roadrunner Records. Recording took place in July 2007 at Undercity Studios in Los Angeles, with Logan Mader (ex-Machine Head guitarist).
Morbid Angel is a Tampa, Florida, United States-based death metal band assembled in 1984. They, along with Deicide, Death, Possessed, Autopsy, Suffocation, Obituary, Massacre and a handful of others were crucial in the development of the death metal genre and its standards. Their songs are complex in arrangement, owing to the considerable technical skills of both guitarist Trey Azagthoth and drummer Pete Sandoval (who also played in the grindcore/death metal band Terrorizer).

Nasum was a grindcore band from Örebro, Sweden. The band was formed during the later part of 1992 by Anders Jakobson (guitar) and Rickard Alriksson (drums/vocals) as a sideproject to the death metal band Necrony. The idea was to create true grindcore in the vein of old Napalm Death. Spring 1993: Necrony's homelabel, German Poserslaughter Records offered Nasum to share a 7" EP with Australian goregrinders Blood Duster. Nasum accepted the offer, but in time the record turned out to be a Nasum/Agathocles split-7" EP.
Formed in early 2005 in Brisbane, Australia. DEAD LETTER OPENER met whilst they were studying music and technology at a Brisbane University, and initially formed the group to complete a recording project imperative to two of the members studies. The potential of becoming a full-time was realised almost immediately and DLO set out to finalise their debut EP and secure national distribution for it. Lamb of God is an American metal band, originally formed under the name Burn the Priest. The roots of Lamb of God were planted in the year 1990, when Mark Morton, Chris Adler and John Campbell were bros at Virginia Commonwealth University. The trio began playing at Adler's house in Richmond weathering chilly conditions. "There was no heat in the house," recalls Campbell. "We would hang around the kerosene heaters, get really drunk and write metal songs. Fumes and Black Label beer were definitely what fueled our early days."
Bleeding Through is a metalcore band out of Orange County, California, United States and was formed in 1999. Bleeding Through's successes in the past have been mainly built upon their Trustkill Records debut, "This Is Love, This Is Murderous." The album produced two music videos ( "On Wings Of Lead" and "Love Lost In A Hail Of Gunfire" ) with Spin Magazine calling them an "Artist To Watch", Revolver branding them part of "The Future Of Metal", multiple accolades from Metal Hammer and Kerrang, and the much love from Alternative Press.
